Begin the day with a scenic coastal drive through some of the most inspiring scenery in the world winding through tropical rainforests and along secluded beaches. Arriving at the Daintree River, you’ll board the ‘Solar Whisper’, a zero emissions cruise that glides quietly and peacefully up the river in search of local wildlife including birds and crocodiles.
Next up on the itinerary is Mossman Gorge for a guided Dreamtime Walk among the oldest, continuously surviving rainforest on earth which commences with a Welcome to Country smoking ceremony. Observe traditional huts and learn about the miraculous use of plant life as food and medicine on this guided walk. At the end of the tour, there is time to enjoy a bush tea and damper and take a refreshing swim in the sacred waters of the Mossman Gorge before returning back to Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas.
