Experience Queenstown's spectacular historic and scenic Skippers Canyon on this exciting 3 hour experience including 30 minute jet boat ride. The guided tour begins with return hotel transfers from Queenstown to Skippers Canyon via the infamous Skippers Canyon Road with informative commentary as you venture into this region that is rich in gold mining history. Half of the fun is the adventure to the upper Shotover River where you will join the jet boat ride. Take in spectacular scenery along the way. Once you reach the boat, you will zip past narrow canyons and sheer rock walls with spectacular scenery at speeds of 80 kmph. Enjoy 360 degree spins, twist and turns throughout the 30 minute jet boat ride.
Guided jet boat ride tours are held twice daily with additional tours available in summer. Tours depart from The Station Building in central Queenstown and visitors should allow 3 hours for the entire experience. Don't miss out on this high speed jet boat adventure along Skippers Canyon. Jet boating and sightseeing tours rolled together in one.
Really great experience. Not just a high-quality jet boat ride on a beautiful stretch of the Shotover River, but a beautifully narrated sightseeing tour and history of Queenstown at the same time. Sets this tour aside from other jet boating tours by far.

Would 100% recommend doing this tour. You get a lot done in the time without feeling rushed at all.
Great tour guides. Bus driver Bob was amazing. Very knowledgeable and operating like a well-oiled machine. Felt very safe and organised. This is a fun tour, with good photo opportunities and the jetboat was super fun. I would highly recommend going for the price.

Had a great time
Had a great time. The bus drive there was just as good as the boat trip. We got the 8:30 am tour and it was only about a handful of people which made it extra special. Definitely wear a raincoat and bring a jumper. Thanks for the lovely tour. New Zealand is tops.
